“I felt like the dry bones in Ezekiel, being brought back to life and being given the breath of the Spirit. It’s something I can share with others.”
Campus minister, Catholic elementary school:
“This workshop came at a transitional time for me, so it was helpful for me to think about my story and reclaim the parts that have been hibernating. I feel more confident in my experiences and my voice as I move forward.”
“Following my experience in Discern, Dream, Scheme, I feel more embedded in a like-minded community. I feel emboldened to speak truth about my experiences. I feel affirmed that my experiences are valid and sacred. I feel hopeful about the ways women are showing up as Church in Church and in the greater community and for themselves.”
~ Lay leader, 2026 participant
“I was heard, affirmed, and lovingly challenged. The Spirit was aflame. Our discernment led to courageous dreams and the best of scheming! I have confidence our Church will no longer be able to dismiss the ministry of women. This workshop is a model for how the Church engages the question of women’s leadership.”
